(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Preparation for this month’s LRHS homecoming is already taking place and with Mustangs planning their homecoming dance outfits, administration is stressing to students that dress code will be strictly enforced this year.

“Students that are inappropriately dressed shall be denied entry,” said assistant principal Mike Mullen.  “Students that are denied entry may have the opportunity to leave and remedy the violation and return to the dance once appropriately dressed.”

The school has released a PowerPoint discussing dress code regulations for both gentlemen and ladies of Lakewood Ranch.

“If the student dresses inappropriately and/or chooses not to return, refunds will not be given,” said Mullen.

Homecoming dance guest forms are also available and must be turned no later than Oct. 26 to LRHS administrative assistant Luann Futchko in the administration office. The form states that “No late forms will be accepted.”

All guests must provide a school or state issued photo identification at the dance to be permitted inside.

The Homecoming dance is set for Saturday Oct. 29.  Mustangs are urged to come out to make memories while staying in the proper dress code.
