Brenna Rademaker – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS girls soccer team tryouts are coming up Oct. 10.
Varsity captain and senior Kerestyn Kesgiropoulos said, “Incoming freshman should expect to work just as hard as the seniors. We don’t judge based on anyone’s age, it’s their skill level, and what they can bring to the field that matters.”
Kesgiropoulos advised any LRHS soccer hopefuls that, “they need to make it a huge priority, because it’s a major commitment.”
Freshman Emma McIntyre said, “I expect to be pushed, and have high expectations for my conditioning and foot skills.
“Because I have Coach Guy (LRHS girls varsity soccer coach, Guy Virgilio) as my club team coach, I know a little about what he expects, and to him attendance should be my number one priority,” said McIntyre.
McIntyre adds that she also wants to grow closer with a new team.
Voluntary soccer conditioning has already started at The Ranch at 2:45 p.m., Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on the track. Team paperwork is due Sept. 30. Contact LRHS activities director Shawn Trent with any questions.
