PSAT registration starts this week

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) is a standardized test that 10th grade students can take to gauge their college readiness. It is also a comprehensive program that helps schools put students on the path to college.

LRHS will offer the PSAT to 10th grade students for free and the for $20 for anyone else who wishes to participate. The set date for the PSAT is Oct. 19, 2016.

LRHS Principal Craig Little said, “Benefits of the PSAT include improvement in teaching and learning, supports college and career planning, and prepares students for the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).”

Registration for the PSAT began Monday. Students can turn in the PSAT registration sheet to the Guidance office to claim a seat.
