“Parent participation is huge” said Principal Craig Little, “Any time there is parental involvement is a huge indicator of how students are going to do academically so Back-to-School night is extremely beneficial.”

Parents had the opportunity to take a step into their Mustang student’s shoes by going through each class attended by their child. They experienced a seven-minute presentation and course description from each teacher in order to give them an idea of the coming 2016-17 school year. Parents had positive feedback regarding the event ranging from the campus to what they would like to see altered for future Back-to-School nights.

“The grounds are gorgeous, spread out and very up to date,” commented one Mustang parent, “it’s great to be able to meet the teachers, see my child’s learning environment and see how organized the teachers are.”

Parents commented that nothing should be changed for future Back-to-School nights and that everyone present was friendly and helpful resulting in a wonderful overall experience.
