New Mustangs dancers enjoy first game

 Maddie Mercer – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Last Friday was the first time some of the LRHS Silver Stars danced at a football game.  Over half the team is made up of new dancers and they were excited to see what it’s like to dance for the fans.

Freshman and first year silver star dancer Emma Bramley said, ” It was a super exciting experience, especially since I was able to be with my friends while doing something I love.”

First year silver star and freshman Brooke Martin said, ” I can’t wait for our next game and I’m excited to see what the season brings for the team.”

The dance team practiced for their sideline routines weeks before the first game.  Dancers had expected to audition to see who would dance at the football game, but coach Kourtney Kalahar decided they were all ready to perform.
