(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – As LRHS students and staff prepare for the 2015-16 school year, The school is excited to welcome the incoming freshman class as they prepare to begin their high school journey.
Orientation for new Mustangs is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 19. Students and parents will be informed about graduation requirements, athletics, clubs, and extracurricular activities. Two sessions will be held, one at 9 a.m. and the second at 6 PM. New students need attend only one session. Each starts in the LRHS auditorium, located near the bus loop.
LRHS Principal Craig Little said this is one event incoming Mustang families won’t want to miss.
“I highly encourage all new students and parents to attend,” he said. “This is a great opportunity to discover all that LRHS has to offer and a great way to start the school year.“
Visitors will be given an opportunity to ask questions for a period of time after the presentation. Incoming Mustangs will be allowed to tour the campus, get their student IDs, receive FOCUS information to monitor their grades, and be informed about transportation routines regarding car riders.
Class schedules will not be distributed on Aug. 19. Students will receive class schedules the first day of school, Aug. 24.
