(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) –LRHS english teacher Louise Heibner is retiring after 11 years at the school.Heibner is a longstanding important member of Lakewood Staff.

Heibner has taught intensive reading during her time here at LRHS. She worked as a lawyer for 25 years before deciding to become a teacher.
“I’m going to miss my students and the professional staff at the Ranch,” said Heibner.
Heibner has some regrets about leaving, but she feels it is time for a new start. She plans on still staying active in the school district after her retirement.
“I plan on volunteering at the local public library, working with third grade students on reading,” she said. “I also plan on traveling as well as working with Head Start.”
Head Start is a program funded by the United States Department of Health and Human Services that provides education possibilities to low-income families.
