(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – There’s a first time for everything and it’s never too late to try something new. Junior Kayla Nevadomski knows this first hand, as she first tried out to be a cheerleader for 2015-16, her senior year.
“Even though it will be my senior year I wanted to be more involved with my friends and the school,” she said.
At tryouts Nevadomski picked up the material quickly, and was surprisingly successful at stunting. She ended up making the varsity team for the 2015-2016 year and can’t wait for the season to begin.
“I love it, the energy and the girls are great,” she said.
Nevadomski says that she is really glad that she tried out this year as it is perfect timing for her.
“It’s super fun and different.” she said.
