(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – r LRHS Student Government Association (SGA) application are now available and can be picked up in room 915 before or after school.
Any student wanting to join SGA has to submit the application by May 8. Applications are to be returned to Portable 915 or to SGA adviser Kent Ringquist, .
“Student Government Association is responsible for planning and organizing a lot of events, the main event being homecoming week,” said Ringquist.
SGA also organizes Angel Tree, lunch-ins and Faculty Award Night for the staff, along with many other service opportunities.
Any student who will be a junior or senior in the 2015-2016 school year are welcome to apply. SGA is an elective class, and the class size is limited. Therefore, interviews will be held in May to determine which applicants are accepted.
Students with good standards such as a good discipline background and a 3.0 GPA are encouraged to apply.
