(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Last night was Arts Showcase night at LRHS. There were many school arts pieces from things like band, theater, and art. It was an opportunity for people coming to or already attending LRHS to see the arts programs the school offers. It was also a way to give donations to the art section by buying pieces and enjoying pieces performed the school’s band and orchestra.

Senior Melissa Danforth is a member of the LRHS marching band.

“It was a great opportunity for people to come and enjoy a fine performance by the band and get to see all that we do.”

Junior Caitlyn Brown is currently enrolled in painting two. She says “I love that people can come and see the amazing work we put so much effort into and to buy our pieces so that we can give that money back to the school.”

Officials say the Fine Arts Showcase was a successful way to spread the word to all students that they should experience LRHS arts.
