LRHS Drama ready to stage summer camp

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Drama Department will host its annual summer camp June 8-25.

The camp is open to students kindergarten through the end of eighth grade and the price to attend is $400.This year’s theme is “Shrek Jr,” and performances by the campers are scheduled for 3 and 7:30 p.m., June 25.

LRHS drama teacher Roxanne Caravan, volunteers Katy Knowles, Pat Ross and Christopher Parrish, along with the high school counselors will be in charge of everything including costumes, stage set up, and directing. Students attending will need to bring their own lunch.

The LRHS Drama Department has hosted the fund-raising summer camp for 14 years and they are expecting a good turnout. The department hopes to raise around $25,000.
