(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Mustangs ready to get a drivers license will have an opportunity to take the wheel this summer, but they better hurry.
The Manatee school district is offering a summer Drivers Education course at Braden River High School.
The program consists of two classroom days; Tuesday, June 10 and Wednesday, June 11. Students should report to the Braden River High School Cafeteria.
Driving dates are as followed:
Group 1A/B – June 12, 15, 16, 17
Group 2A/B – June 18, 19, 22, 23
Group 3A/B – June 24, 25, 26, 29 and July 1
Group 4A/B – June 30, July 1, 2, 6
Group 5A/B – July 7, 8, 9, 10
Students can pick up Drivers Ed applications from the LRHS front office, but this is the last week to to so. Forms will be accepted through 7:15 a.m., Monday, April 13. Late students will not be admitted, and no middle school students or seniors will be accepted.
The first 20 applications will be enrolled automatically, and all the others will be placed on a waiting list.
