(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – It’s the noise you notice first. A screaming crowd and shoes squeaking against the gym floor fill the air as you walk in the gym. These are the sounds of the Lakewood Ranch vs. Braden River basketball game.

The left side of the LRHS gym is filled with students, parents, and faculty from Braden River. The right side of the stadium is filled with Mustang students, parents, and faculty cheering on their team. Each side of the stadium is cheering and yelling. When Braden River gets their free throws the Lakewood students stand up and yell to distract Braden River. Braden River students return the favor when the Lakewood Ranch boys get their turn.

By the end of the first quarter Braden River is crushing Lakewood Ranch. This does not get the Mustangs down as they make a come back in the second period. By the end of the second quarter Lakewood Ranch takes the lead.

The teams get a break after the second period as the Silver Star dance team comes out to perform.

As the third quarter starts up again Lakewood Ranch holds their lead.
