(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The end of a sports season doesn’t mean the end of the athletes’ participation.

Mustang swimmers Alex Vice, junior, Wesley Desouza, senior, Dylan Thompson, junior, Emma Stock, sophomore, and Mason Zhang, junior, understand this well.

Vice is planning on running track and field for the Mustangs and indulging in some much needed food.

“Swimming is a great way to make friends and meet people,” he said.

Thompson said that he will be working out at the YMCA during the off-season and that “despite the fewer amount of people on the team it was still a good year.”

Desouza will continue swimming so that he can increase his speeds.

Stock will be training for triathlons, practicing nutrition for races, working on her upper body strength, and will also be recovering from the injury that she sustained earlier this year.

Mason said that he will spend his time during the off-season “preparing for the next swim season.”
