Mustangs React – Mustangs get all tingly with Spidey sense

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The sequel to “The Amazing Spiderman” came out May 2, and is sparking conversation left and right.

The “Amazing Spiderman 2” follows Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) as he juggles his life fighting crime as Spiderman, being in a relationship with Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone), and trying to find out the truth about the mysterious disappearance of his parents.

The “Amazing Spiderman 2” brought in $92 million in box office sales its first weekend. The sequel is getting generally good reviews from Mustangs.

Sophomore Melissa Ackaway said, “I’ve been waiting for The Amazing Spiderman 2 to come out ever since I saw the first one, and the wait was definitely worth it.”

Freshman Sam Rials said, “I was speechless after I saw the movie.”

Junior Ashley Huddleston said, “I saw it the day it came out, and I would go see it again if I could. It was really good.”

Senior Alina Mendoza said, “I’m not a big superhero fan, but ‘The Amazing Spiderman 2’ was super good.”

“The Amazing Spiderman 2” was filled with effects that make it seem like you audiences are actually in the movie.

Freshman Kara Mathis said, “The movie was really good, but the effects were the best part.”

Senior Grace Talerico said, “The effects and the songs that played during the movie were awesome. My favorite was definitely the songs that were played.”

“The Amazing Spiderman 2” included several dubstep type songs, but also featured songs by artists such as Alicia Keys and Pharrell Williams.

There are a few people that believed that the sequel wasn’t as good as the original.

Junior Natalie Colwell said, “I actually thought the first movie was better. I think they could’ve made the new one better.”

Sophomore Cody Hendrickson said, “‘The Amazing Spiderman 2’ wasn’t as good as everyone said it was. Maybe it’s because I’m not that into Spiderman.”
