Mustangs urged to stay on top of college info

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Students needing information on required SAT, ACT or GPA to go to the university of your choice, LRHS Career Adviser Michelle Todoroff has the latest information. She also has data on scholarship deadlines, test scores and much more.

“I think students should equip themselves with as much information as possible,” said Todoroff, “Students can come in anytime and see me for information.”

Todoroff has an open door policy in Room 610.

She updates scholarship information weekly, and provides further information on her website.

Todoroff said there are several career and college information opportunities in the near future.

12th Grade Only: USF Sarasota-Manatee will be here on Thursday, March 13 for an “Instant Decision Day”.  Seniors just need to bring copies of their transcript and SAT/ACT scores.

Time slots available from 9 a.m. – 11a.m.  Sign up in Room 610.

11th – 12th Grades: Nursing Lunch and Learn for all interested students:  Wednesday, March 19 in Room 610.  Lunch provided by Keiser University.  Sign up in Room 610.

Another opportunity is Culinary Skills Day – Field Trip on April 4th hosted by Johnson & Whales.  This is a great opportunity for students to learn about the exciting culinary career field. Lunch provided.   Sign up in Room 610.

9th – 12th Grades: A West Point Cadet will be here for an informational visit to talk about his experience as a Cadet to any students considering a Military Academy on Friday, March 14 from 7:30a.m. – 10 a.m.    Sign up in Room 610.
