(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL ) – The annual Miss Lakewood Ranch pageant is coming up soon.
The Miss Lakewood Ranch Pageant is a fundraiser for the LRHS Junior Advisory Board (JAB). The money raised helps pay for the school’s prom. The pageant is schedule for 7 p.m., April 2 in the school auditorium.
JAB adviser Macie French said, “I love running the pageants. It showcases LRHS young talent and beauty.”
Current Ms. Lakewood Ranch Marina Masterson is excited that voting will begin. “I don’t see why more people run. The benefits are completely worth it.”
Benefits for being Miss Lakewood include parking in the front lot for free, a free season sport pass, skipping to the front of lunch lines with no penalties, two free prom tickets, and an opportunity to be in the Veterans Day Parade.
“Being in the parade and waving to people was a blast,” said Masterson. “I’m not running this year, but I would definitely encourage others to.”
