(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The National Honor Society (NHS) is a nationwide high school honors organization that encourages students to drive to get get scholarships, become better leaders and complete community service.
Students are driven to get scholarships,become better leaders, and complete community service.
Sophomores, juniors, and seniors at LRHS with GPA 3.5 or higher are eligible to become a part of this club.
“I’m excited to welcome the new members, and am looking forward to making the club better,” said LRHS junior and NHS Public Relations Officer Julia Harrison.
Students are given two weeks to complete the forms. They are due March 7.
A committee of teachers will evaluate and pick students to become members of NHS. The selected students will then be inducted on March 24.
