(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS bands displayed their talents and proved their superiority Feb. 10 during a battle of the bands at Braden River High School.

The Mustang Jazz Band One received straight superiors and Jazz Band Two received excellent ratings.

Seventy-three students who performed either solo or in an ensemble received a superior rating.

The Jazz Band and soloists will travel to Orlando to compete at the State Jazz and Solo festival March 21.

LRHS Band Director Ron Lambert said the LRHS Jazz Bands will headline at the University of Central Florida Jazz Festival March 22.
