(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL ) – The LRHS Technology Department will compete in the state Technology Student Association (TSA) competition Feb. 20 – 23. LRHS senior Nathan Miler is the school’s TSA President and state treasurer. He finished first place in last year’s dragster competition.
Junior Katy Bryan stated that critical thinking is key for performing well in the Technology Department; “We problem solve and try to fix things by writing down various problems and analyzing them.
Junior Marissa Long added, “A lot of fun and adventure happens here.”
Sophomore Parker Whitlock will compete in the Robotics portion of the competition. He said, “I started this project two months after the start of the school year and now I’ll be competing in the statewide competition in just ten days. By competing against others you get to meet other teams from around the globe and complete various tasks during competition.”
