(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Students planning to take an LRHS dual enrollment courses or dual enrolled classes at State College Florida Manatee-Sarasota were given an opportunity to find out more about the program Tuesday night. Around 100 people attended the schools’s Dual Enrolled Information session.

“We reviewed the qualifications on how to become a dual enrolled student or what to keep in mind for current dual enrolled students,” said Guidance Councilor Melissa Alter.

Parents and students were informed about Dual Enrollment GPA standards as well as procedures for standardized tests including the Florida Postsecondary Education Readiness Test (PERT), SAT, and ACT Students were also reminder of important deadlines for these tests.

SCF Dual Enrollment Procedure Forms can be picked up in the guidance office or on the school website.
