(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Report cards took a little longer than expected for Lakewood Ranch students today.

Report cards were expected to be handed out today, but school officials say they took longer to print than expected.

Junior Kirsten Schmitt is totally fine with getting report cards a day late.

“It gives me an extra day of freedom before my parents snap on me about my grades.”

Officials say report cards will hopefully be given to students Thursday during homeroom.
