(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The second quarter has ended but its effects will still linger. Report cards will be distributed to students Jan. 29.

Some students will have to face their parents’ reactions to their grades, but senior Sara Vaught doesn’t mind receiving her report card next week.

“I think my grades were pretty acceptable this quarter, I had to make sure i kept my grades up for college, so I’d say I’m in the clear with my parents.”

School officials remind students that the start of the third quarter means a fresh slate, and urge everyone to do their best to maintain solid grades.
