(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Get ready for curtain call as “The Wedding Singer” comes to LRHS.
The Mustang Players will revive this blast from the past at 7:30 p.m. on the January 30 and 31, Feb. 1 and 2 in the LRHS auditorium, and a special showing at 2 p.m. on the Feb. 2. The play is based on a 1998 Adam Sandler film.
Tickets are on sale for $5 per student and $10 per adult and are available through all the cast members and by calling the box office at 941-727-6100 ex. 2189. They can also be purchased via email at lrhstheatre@gmail.com. The drama department will respond as fast as possible to anyone purchasing tickets through phone or email.
Mustang performers and technicians are hard at work creating the show, and are excited for the outcome.

“The Wedding Singer” was a successful film (grossing over $123-million) and the stage version is a very fun and dynamic show.
Junior Kylee Risdon, stage manager of the production said, “We just went through choreography, so the show is still coming together but it’s fun for all the cast members and everyone is working really hard to make it perfect. We will be audience-ready in no time.”
