(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The Florida State University Seminoles are going to the BCS National College Football Championship Game. Florida State had a perfect regular season record of 13-0, making them the only undefeated major team in the country. They also won their conference title against Duke, 45-7. Freshman Jameis Winston threw for 330 yards and three touchdowns.
FSU will play Alabama’s Auburn University for the BCS National Championship.
Auburn had an exceptional season as well, ending at 12-1 with some outstanding victories such as that over AP Ranked #1 Alabama and AP Ranked #5 Missouri.
LRHS freshman Garret Kelly has great faith in the Seminoles.
“They’re going to win, thats what I think. They have some great talent at QB, RB, and WR.”
On the other hand Mustang sophomore Danny Riordan said, “I’m a die hard Florida University fan, so I have to root for Auburn.”
Junior Brandon Barber said, “I’m glad FSU made the BCS Naitonal Championship, and I think Jameis Winston can carry them to a victory.”
Apparently, not everyone on the LRHS campus is excited about the game. Sophomore Tristan Jones said “They’re going to the National Championship? Wait, who are they playing?”
