(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS JROTC Raider team is having its second and final meet of the season Nov. 16.

The Raider team consists of ten JROTC members with two alternates. They compete against other local JROTC teams in a variety of physical fitness events.

Team captain Aaron Pollachek, senior, said, “We do the 5K run, the litter carry, the Row Bridge, the Sand Bag Relay, and the HUMVEE Pull.”

The team’s coach is Lt.Cl. Richard Roller.

The team has two meets a year unless they host their own events.

The LRHS JROTC’s goal is to educate students to become overall better citizens. The meets help students strive for goals and to complete them with excellence.
