(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – From the being pampered by makeup artists to wearing designer clothes, being a model would be a dream come true for many girls.

LRHS sophomore Hailey Todoroff has been a model since sixth grade. She modeled for the well known agency of Wilhelmina, doing small photo shoots and jobs in Florida.

Her mother and LRHS career adviser Michelle Todoroff said, “Hailey has been scouted several times by modeling agencies or representatives, probably because of her height (over 5′ 10″).

“She was 12 when she was first scouted by a photographer who offered to take pictures and submit them on her behalf to modeling agencies. That was at Lakewood Ranch Cinema when she was in middle school.  Since then she has been scouted at concerts and at an Atlanta Mall.”

Hailey Todoroff has been modeling for the Alexa Agency for less than a year and has just signed with Presence Modeling, but is still looking at new agencies to expand her horizons.

“In the past month I have gotten to do three shoots, which I am really happy about. I just love my job and what I am so lucky to get to do,” said Hailey.

During the summer she got a huge break and became a model for Bealls modeling clothes and accessories for the store. Also during the summer she was able to take a trip to New York where she got to meet with modeling agencies and explore the city.

“I love modeling, I love how they do your makeup and dress you up, its just a lot of fun,” said Hailey.

Her most recent endeavor was to be on the cover of Jacksonville Magazine, where she is seen modeling high end fashions and accessories. The style of clothing is from work outfits to a more adventurous “night on the town.”

Hailey shared, “There are about one hundred other models at Alexa, so getting a job all depends on what the company is looking for.”

She plans on being a model for a while and trying to get more jobs and become a model in New York.

Michelle Todoroff supports her daughter’s endeavors.

“I think that modeling is a fun way to earn some money,” she said.

“Hailey enjoys modeling; however, it is only one of the many activities that she enjoys…its’ not what defines her. I think she is blessed to be so tall and beautiful…however, I continually remind her that it is much more important to be beautiful on the inside than the outside.”

Modeling is not all that defines Hailey. She is also a runner, high jumper and rows with Sarasota Crew.
