(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The Lady Mustangs basketball team will be tipping off in their first game of the season Tuesday, Nov. 5 against Winter Haven. This will be part of a preseason tournament at St. Petersburg.

Head coach Tina Hadley has high hopes for her girls this season, “I want to go to states,” she said, “and not only do I want to go to states but I want to win.”

There are many new players that have joined the girls basketball family. Seven freshman will now be in the lineup along with one sophomore. The team is very tight knit because the veteran members have been playing together since 2010.

“The new girls fit right in,” said Coach Hadley, “I’m really looking forward to a successful season with the team working as one unit.”
